Hi! I'm Melanie. I grew up sheltered by the Mountains and have since found my home in the cornfields of Omaha Nebraska. My world revolves around my family - a patient and supportive army husband, and three fun-loving kids who keep life joyful. I love going on vacations, playing the piano, eating peanut m&m's, and everything photography. There's hardly an event where my camera doesn't come with me.
I have a terrible memory! I believe memories must be preserved, and if I have a picture of that time in my life, those moments & relationships are remembered instead of lost in the depths of non-existence. I also believe too many pictures are trapped on a computer instead of freely displayed. Let your lives be shown!
People inspire me. I am fascinated by the stories of others. For me, it's not about getting the stiff pose and fake smiles . . . it's about capturing the JOY of being you!
