Oh my word, do these girls crack me up! And they seriously have THE nicest parents you will ever meet. This family came ready to smile and have fun as we waltzed around downtown Elkhorn. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

3 boys in one family -- you may instantly think - T.R.O.U.B.L.E! :) Camouflage, dirt, exploring, and experimenting is just part of daily life for this family. I've gotten to know these kids over the past couple years, and you couldn't find a better bunch than this family of boys! Their creativity is limitless, and their hunger for learning new things is inspiring. And to top it off, you can tell that they really love their mama!

The lovely {P} family | Omaha area photographer

I hear so often "It's been __ amount of years since we've had our pictures taken." I totally understand! The time and stress it takes to get family pictures done is enough to postpone it every year. But what makes me happy is when I get to help families finally get around to it!

I had donated a session to a fundraiser for a little baby boy with pediatric cancer, and this is how I met Tera. She mentioned she was so excited to not only help this family, but to also be getting family pictures after what she said was a long time. She dreamed of black and white pictures of her kids hanging down her hallway. I can't tell you how much I adored this family! The session started out easy with photogenic smiles...but the meltdowns were slowly happenin'. You see, I come prepared for pretty much anything that could happen. I know how to wing it and switch up a session for these little ones who just don't wanna be told what to do. But I will tell you, I had no way of fixing the littlest boy falling into a pit of muddy, cold water! Good thing Mama P came prepared with a change of shorts, but the last few images of the night with his tear-streaked cheeks now have a story! Poor little man.

(*update: I was just informed that the little boy with cancer passed away early this morning. My heart aches for this family, and I'm sure the days and weeks and months ahead will be more than difficult. My thoughts are with their family...)

{G} Family | Omaha Family Photographer

Fall has come...and seems to be heading out! We had to reschedule this darling family's photoshoot because of a huge windstorm with a bit of cold rain. I think both Emily and I were worried that there wouldn't be any leaves left on the trees from all that crazy wind! Thankfully it was one of the last gorgeous days left of fall AND the trees and leaves were gorgeous!

This photogenic family was so hilarious! I had a good time chasing these little ones full of fun energy - such good kids! I can't even say how much I really love this family and their photo session!

Little {Nell} - one week | Omaha Newborn Photographer

Remember this family? Well now this is a family of three!

I love going into a family's home during a newborn photoshoot. You get a glimpse of who they are and what they value. Mama G was more than ready when I came. Bows were laid out, baby Nell was fed and sleeping, and they both looked beautiful. All around her {very organized} home were pictures of family - nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters. You can tell what is important to Mandy and Josh, and this well-deserving couple received their little 7 lb package that they've been waiting a long time for. She was a squirmy li'l peanut, but never did cry!

Welcome to this world - li'l {W} - Newborn Omaha Photographer

High energy, lots of giggles and smirks, and sweet soothings...

I photographed the {J} family in stages...they've had a few major changes in life, and I feel so blessed to capture a few of 'em.

Phase I: The little girls had me chasing them all throughout the park! It was actually really fun! And from the smiles I got, I think they liked it too. :)

Phase II: Li'l Will had a pretty scary entrance to this world. I listened to Mama J hold back the emotion as she told me his story, and my heart was humbled to be photographing such a blessed moment 2 weeks later. This woman has such a big heart and thankfully this little babe came home in her arms. What a blessing he is...

Will was NOT interested in sleeping during our session, so instead I captured some smirks, a few cries, and his open baby eyes. :)

Phase III: A family complete.

I've had a lot of interest for pictures this fall, so don't wait to schedule! I am limited in my availability and will try and update this page as my calendar fills up. First ones to contact me will get their #1 choice of date/time. 1/2 of your fee is due at the time of booking to reserve your date.

Also, I am updating information on my packages. As of September 10th, I will no longer be including any complimentary prints to my packages. The website/blog have already been updated, but if you book before September 10th, you will still receive the free 8x10 & 5x7 prints with a portrait session package.(Shipping not included).
